It’s all over :( Back to reality!

Well it was amazing while it lasted! Honestly, time doesn’t fly when you’re having fun, it positively rockets. Seventeen days, all over in a flash. I never even had time to stop and take a breath, not to mention blog.

Once again thanks to all my amazing (new) friends from German class, to my parents for being so accommodating, to my classmates for warmly receiving my guest and most of all to Jan, for being such a lively and engaging presence for two entire weeks!

Hoffentlich, my lame excuse for a social life that I have enjoyed for the past two weeks will continue even without our guests. Hint, hint! It wouldn’t hurt to stay out till 10 once in a while!

So XOXO to all my old and new friends, both local and foreign. Keep the flame of friendship burning bright and strong forever!

What a wonderful week

I’ve never had this much fun in a long, long time. This week has been absolutely perfect. The very basic premise of going out till 10 everyday with Jan Patrick, my German pal, and all the other cool people from German class is just so amazing.

Off to the Bird Park and after that straight to Downtown East for another day of pure frolicking fun and laughter. That’s not even mentioning Sentosa tomorrow!

Thanks to the likes of Chu Yun, Ji Wei, Andrew, Marie, Tobias and Simon for making the week just wonderful!

Sweet, sweet seventeen!

An earnest and big shout out to everyone who wished me a happy birthday today! And to those who forgot, I know you still love me! (: In no particular order because I have genuinely forgotten the order in which they came: Ying Jie, Chris, Kia Liang, Shu Si, Issac Sim, HH08, Natalia, Adalia, Vincent, Pan, Chloe, Amanda, Terrence, Gabriel Tan + the 4T people, Bennett, Quan Quan, Will, Nelicia, Yan Yee, 09S06G, Leon, Vincent, Ying Xiang, Tai Boon, Chorale, Shiru, Jiwei, Andrew, Peng Seng, Jit… (sorry if I left you out, really!)

Seventeen, wow.

Sixteen was great, RI came and went, RJC arrived at my doorstep, but seventeen is where I really grow up. It’s where I come full circle, where the transition is complete. Are you ready seventeen? Because here I come!

Solitude

I’m lonely.

I have been losing friends left, right and centre recently. I guess I have been making way too many rash decisions, assumptions and justifications that have just completely put off some people. Have I been too rash, indecisive or spontaneous? I guess I might not be in the best of moods myself and me voicing my frustrations and disappointments when others are obviously far worse off has not helped matters.

And for that I apologise.

I am sorry, from the deepest reaches of my heart, for being inconsiderate, for being cold, for being distant and for being ignorant.

And therefore I plead.

Please, to all my close friends who might (I don’t want to be making another harsh and unjustified assumption) be repulsed and disgusted by me, to give me another chance and let me show you that I am a true friend to you.

I have always been there, and always will be.

Everyone needs their bosom buddies, please do not forsake me.
